Interactive project management is often the missing link

We see many firms struggling with getting projects done on-time, on-budget…without burning out their staff. Typically it is because project management, one of the 5 key areas of the typical interactive delivery model (strategy, planning, creative, technology, project management) is not buttoned up. Usually it is caused by a lack of process and/or because there are not dedicated, experienced or empowered interactive project managers. In traditional agencies trying to grow their interactive capabilities we see, time and again, this role misunderstood and undervalued.

If you are struggling to consistently deliver projects on-time (without your staff jumping jumping through hoops) consider how you can improve your project management function. Here are three good questions you can ask yourself to get started….Do I have a standard pm process that is enforced? Do I have dedicated and experienced interactive pms? Are my pm’s empowered and equipped to get the job done?
